SJSU BFA Graphic Design Class of ‘25
Year
2025
Every year, the graduating class of SJSU’s BFA Graphic Design program puts on an exhibition displaying the two years worth of projects each of the students created in their classes. It is an opportunity to celebrate the bright minds of these students and display to potential employers the next generation of design prowess. To put on this exhibition, each student must contribute their own skills and hard work.
Working on the branding team, I collaborated with other designers in the developmental stage of the exhibition's visual identity, specifically contributing the glass shapes element to the final version. I also edited together two promotional videos: a heartfelt montage of the students’ journey throughout the two years and a series of interviews with the students about how they’ve grown through the program.

As one of the students with more experience with photography, I was responsible for taking the portraits of every student and preparing them to be used in various brand applications including, booths, books, and a website. Each of the 23 students received a professional portrait and one with a fun/sentimental prop.

The branding team was also responsible for promotional merchandise applications to give to students, families, professors, and alumni. These served as extensions of the exhibition’s vibrant visual identity.
